Can I have a chance of having GM GDS2 & Tech2Win on VCM2 units?

With Tech2win it will work 40-50% and with Gds 2 it will work 20-30%……..
Because missing Gm protocol (chip) from the Vcm II vs. with Gm Mdi…….
Go and make scan with your Vcm II with Tech2win with one Corsa-d and look with how many Ecu’s it will not communicate!!!!!!!!!1
Then go with one Astra-h then with one Vectra-c and look the same!!!!!!!!!!!

I commented that if it works 100% as I have the 2 teams VCM2 and MDI !!!
works Tech 2 win, SPS, recalibration 100% ….

I just tested it to American ..not sure things in Europe..maybe not works because of Full different protocols

Ford IDS 108 Windows 7 installation & activation review

Contacted obdexpress.co.uk about IDS 108 install and activation over TeamViewer. After agreeing on a price, he checked my system for compatibility and shortly thereafter began the install. There was a problem with my computer causing the install to have to be done twice, and he went above and beyond to complete this extra step in the setup. He also gave me support after installation showing me a couple of things inside the program – Great guy.

I am in United States and can confirm that this IDS solution is native install and works on North American vehicles.

So far have tested 2003 Ford F-150 all functions including PATS, 2007 Ford F-150 all functions including PATS and module programming, 2015 Transit Connect self test and datalogger work. However, 2014+ Ford vehicles require locksmith ID LSID to do any PATS functions or any PMI programmable module installation/PCM reprogramming etc. This solution does not work for those functions.

Overall, obdexpress.co.uk is fair, reasonable, and trustworthy. He is expedient, diligent, honest, and affordable. He worked all night getting my system to work. I recommend him.

Eddz: Stay well away from Vxdiag. It is china developed tool that they claim works better than anything else, but in real life if you encounter a problem there will be no support because there simply is no information about this magic tool.
Be warned because nobody will help you if you get in trouble while using this crap

ivica21: Vxdiag for reprogramming is slower than VCM2.For diagnostic is the same.But for new software is Vxdiag better because (black list)only if you have VCM2 with not blacklisted serial.

Atmel: Clone vcm2 also has good quality, i not saying ebay or Alibaba. good quality Ford VCM from china works just like original, there is some good quality benz and BMW units out there, vag com and VCP for vag. Honda HDS interface is very cheap from china and latest software can be found online and works great never failed me…
